Fans of X1 project group will take to the streets to demand compensation for the damage to CJENM caused by the dismantling of the group.

Today, January 20th, according to the “X1 New Group Support Alliance“, which is made up of a few fans of X1, they will organize a rally outside the headquarters of CJ ENM in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.. January 22nd.
“CJ ENM CEO Hur Min-hoi should keep his promise to guarantee X1‘s activities and take responsibility for the victims of these decisions,” they said, condemning CJ ENM for avoiding responsibility for the separation of X1 and claims compensation for damage, such as the formation of a new group.
X1 is an 11-member project group formed by the survival audition program of the music channel CJ ENM Mnet “Produce X 101”. They made their debut in August, but stopped after the controversy over the manipulation of the show’s vote.
In response, CJ ENM held an official press conference on December 30th and apologized for the controversy. CJ ENM also promised efforts to resume the activities of IZ*WON and X1, whose activities had been suspended due to controversy.
In the end, the dismantling of X1 was decided on January 6th. In response, some fans request new group activities from CJ ENM and their members’ respective agencies.
