TWICE’s MV “TT” has exceeded 500 million views.
The clip for ‘TT’, released in October 2016, surpassed 500 million views on YouTube at 9:02 pm KST on January 22nd. This makes “TT” the first music video to reach 500 million views in the TWICE repertoire.
In response to this, the girls revealed a congratulatory video on the official SNS and thanked domestic and foreign fans for their great support. On December 22nd, 2017, TWICE became the first Korean artist to reach 300 million views with the clip for “TT“.
“TT“, the title song of the third mini-album “TWICEcoaster: LANE 1“, is the first song to express the spirit of love of a girl in the lyrics.
It gained a lot of popularity with dance moves that melted some of the fans, including with a performance that visually expressed “TT” using its fingers and cute gestures that were adapted to the lyrics.
Currently, TWICE is hosting a large-scale world tour called TWICE WORLD TOUR 2019 and TWICELIGHTTS, which is made up of 29 performances in 17 regions of the world, including four cities in the USA, in Los Angeles, Mexico City, Newark and Chicago.
The tour will present a final performance “TWICELIGHTTS” at the KSPO DOME (Olympic Gymnastics Stadium) in Songpa-gu, Seoul on March 7 and 8.
