The group ATEEZ struggled to win a gold medal at the 2020 ISAC.
On January 24, MBC aired the show Idol Star Athletics Championships Special New Lunar Year. Three members of ATEEZ, WOOYOUNG, YUNHO and YEOSANG, participated on the men wrestling competition. They first fought against the group VERIVERY. WOOYOUNG and YUNHO both won their first fight and made their team win 2-0.
Then, for the second round, they had to fight against the group VICTON. WOOYOUNG and YUNHO showed their strength by winning one more time their fights. WOOYOUNG really impressed the audience by being undefeated throughout the competition. He won his last fight but YUNHO lost his despite an intense battle. ATEEZ last member YEOSANG had to win his very first fight to make his team the winner the competition. After an great battle, he defeated his opponent so ATEEZ won the gold medal for the men wrestling competition.
ATEEZ replaced the group ASTRO as the latest winner of men wrestling at the ISAC.
ATEEZ eight members are really active and still promoting their latest title song “Answer“. They are preparing to meet their fans from all around the world by going on a world tour. They will perform in Seoul, seven cities in Europe, two cities in Japan and five cities in the USA.
