This March 21st, YG Entertainment published its first video cover of JUNKYU on its official blog and its YouTube channel.
In the video published, JUNKYU appears with a gentle rhythm to the flowing music. He selected “Latch” from the British electro duo Disclosure (feat. Sam Smith) for his cover, which instantly captivated listeners with his unique soft voice.
JUNKYU expressed the song perfectly with his overflowing talent and energy. In particular, a wide range of vocal scales which easily adjusts to this title.
He also naturally danced according to the groove of the music, and the pure expression on his childish face mixed well with his refreshing voice, adding to the soft sensitivity of the song.
JUNKYU was confirmed as a member of TREASURE, scoring the highest score among the vocal position rookies of the final stage of the “YG Treasure Box” project program. He also showed his production potential and raised expectations for his future artistic career.
The performance video CHOI HYUN SUK and DOYOUNG unveiled earlier, the video “Honesty“, by lead singer BANG YE DAM, and the cover video of PARK JUNG WOO with “Superstar” raises the veil sequentially, raising expectations for the debuts of TREASURE.
TREASURE launches this year a first project, presenting various contents. Since January, the company has been communicating with fans around the world with self-produced video content such as “Treasure Map”, “TM I”, “Fact Check” and “3-minute Treasure”, as well as a series of profile photos which operates in series.
