The representative 1st generation girl group FIN.K.L returns to the music industry as a full group after 21 years.
Its agency GEMSTONE E&M officially announced on September 21: “We are preparing the official full-group activities of FIN.K.L by joining hands with the four members LEE HYORI, OK JOO HYUN, LEE JIN and SUNG YU RI.”
This is the first time since the release of the digital single “FOREVER FIN.K.L” in 2005, 21 years ago, that FIN.K.L conducts musical activities as an official team. Although they reunited after 14 years through JTBC’s variety show “Camping Club” in 2019 and presented a new special song, this return holds deep significance since it is not a one-time event, but an official launch continuing with the release of new songs and official activities under the name of FIN.K.L.
Having made its debut in 1998, FIN.K.L led the golden age of girl groups by recording mega-hits with every released song such as “Blue rain”, “To my boyfriend”, “Eternal love”, “Pride”, “White”. Presenting varied concepts ranging from purity to charisma, they also swept the musical “Grand Prizes” (Daesang) of the three major broadcast networks.
Subsequently, the members maintained their friendship while building unique careers in their respective fields as a solo singer, a major musical diva, and an actress. The attention of fans and the music industry is focused on the new step that FIN.K.L will show in 2026.
