Girls’ group NEONPUNCH is expected to return in late June as a new unit, and the name of the unit has finally been decided as “XUM“, the agency A100 Entertainemnt announced today.
Its new unit, “XUM“, consists of three members DAYEON, BAEKAH and IAAN, among the five members of NEONPUNCH. They will capture the K-pop scene with a different charm from the existing NEONPUNCH.
Meanwhile, “XUM” means “Xumming Unlimited Move“, which means “infinite movement”.
The unit will present differentiated dances with sympathetic performances to correspond to the name of “XUM“.

NEONPUNCH debuted in 2018 with “MOONLIGHT” and was loved for simultaneously expressing sporty and pure girls. The group also continued its activities in January 2019 by showing its unique charm with the title song “Tic Toc” from its second mini-album “WATCH OUT“.
NEONPUNCH should return in late June with its new “XUM” unit.
