On May 13, Pledis Entertainment published on the fancafe of NU’EST (JR, REN, ARON, MINHYUN, BAEKHO) an announcement concerning the violation of the artists’ privacy.

” Notice regarding violation of artists’ personal privacy.
Hello, this is Pledis Entertainment.
We would like to thank all the fans who have shown their love and support for NU’EST. However, we wish to write this notice as there have recently been cases of people expressing their interest in our artists in ways that cross the line.
Despite there already being a notice regarding NU’EST fan club etiquette and privacy protection, people continue to visit places such as our agency building, music studios, recording studios, fitness center, waiting for members. Some have also followed the members all the way back to their homes, and this caused severe mental pressure on the members.
Following scheduled activities on May 12, an incident took place due to fans following one of the members to his home by car and even entering the hallway of their home. We immediately reported the matter to the police and took additional measures on the spot.
Including this event, all violations of our artists’ privacy will not only lead to permanent restrictions for participation in activities for NU’EST‘s fan club, but for all future and previously confirmed occurrences, we will take strong action by pursuing legal action and reporting these cases to the police after collecting evidence such as CCTV footage and our own monitoring. Also, we would like to notify that we place our artists’ safety and personal privacy above all else and will request severe punishment for all related occurrences with no settlements.
We ask for the assistance of LOΛEs so that our artists can promote in a healthy and safe environment, and we will continue to do our best to protect our artists.

The group NU’EST made their comeback with their 8th mini-album “THE NOCTURNE” and their title song “I’m in trouble” on May 11.
