ROAD TO KINGDOM: First elimination.

The fifth episode is marked by the first elimination and the new challenge.

At the end of episode 4 we left the 7 groups participating in the program “Road to kingdom“, PENTAGON, ONEUS, THE BOYZ, VERIVERY, GOLDEN CHILD, TOO and ONF waiting, stressful, for the results.

In fact, after 3 tests, it will be time for the MC to announce the classification which will decide who will be the first group to be eliminated from the program. According to all the members of each group, this elimination will be terrible because all have given the maximum and none deserves that.

First of all, let’s take a look at the different services. All the groups introduced themselves by performing a “90 seconds” performance. A way to present yourself and put yourself immediately forward in order to put pressure on other groups.

The second performance was a reinterpretation of the title of a group of kpop, each participant had to choose a song from their sunbaes (group having started before them) and adapt it to add their style.

The third challenge called “My song” forced them to choose a song from their repertoire and to completely reinvent the concept to make a new song.

After all these performances one of the group clearly won unanimity thanks to its incredible concepts and visuals, forcing the other competitors to recognize their superiority on these first performances.

This is the group THE BOYZ which comes at the top of all the rankings in each episode, but then what will happen to this new ranking which will lead to the elimination of a first group?

Should we try to eliminate the strongest to guarantee his place?

In order to achieve this new ranking, only 6 members from each group will vote to rank the 7 participating groups in order from best to lowest. In addition this time there is an online vote where fans will be able to vote and establish a ranking. For fans, in order to respect fairness, 20 fans from each group will rank, making a total of 140 fans voting.

But then what will be the final classification?

Without surprise, the group THE BOYZ peaks at the top of the ranking, it also obtains the maximum score, which means that all the votes gave them winners. A reward for their incredible performance. The surprise comes from the group ONF, which takes second place, its staging was able to win the eyes of voters. Then come PENTAGON, ONEUS group, VERIVERY and …

After this announcement, the atmosphere in the studio is heavy, tears will slide on the cheeks of the eliminated and even their friends. The pressure, even if they have a smile on their lips, is intense and at that time it suddenly drops. One of the members of the eliminated group will be very angry, thinking that it was his fault that the last performance was partly on his shoulders. A hard moment which will be of short duration because already the next test arrives.

The announcement is made that the fate of the group will be linked to another, the next theme being:

“COLLABORATION“

The groups will be divided two by two during a draw carried out by the MC. Which groups will meet together? Is it an advantage to be with the group THE BOYZ? Or on the contrary an additional pressure?

These duo announcements will be a moment of relaxation and laughter between the groups and the MC.

The group duos will therefore begin to work together to find the title, the atmosphere, the concept of the service in order to achieve the best performance in the next episode.
