HWANG MIN HYUN
The singer and actor HWANG MIN HYUN presented the first concept of his new digital single “OUR” in a sober appearance, stripped of all extravagance.
HWANG MIN HYUN published the official photos of the “DOT” version of “OUR”, which will be released on October 7, via his official social media on the 2nd at 10 PM KST.
The published photos capture the natural charm of HWANG MIN HYUN with minimal ornaments, against the backdrop of a space themed around the “dot”. HWANG MIN HYUN stood before the lens in a clean style combining a white shirt and dark trousers. An impression of ease emerged from his naturally tousled hair and relaxed posture, while his calm gaze and delicate expression perfected an even deeper atmosphere.
The staging using a circle drawn on the floor and a raw-textured wall also attracts attention. HWANG MIN HYUN maximized the sober mood by filling the screen with restrained movements, standing inside the boundary of the circle or leaning against the wall.
In particular, the staging stripped of decorations is tied to the theme of “OUR”, which consists of observing the smallest “dot” that constitutes us, increasing curiosity about the concepts and narrative of the upcoming album.
“OUR” is an album in which HWANG MIN HYUN looks back on the time that built him, reminisces about the traces of those who accompanied him, and develops the story of “us” discovered within it. A total of 3 tracks, including the title track, are included, and HWANG MIN HYUN integrated into the lyrics his sincere emotion toward those who accompanied him.
Netizens reacted by saying: “The unadorned atmosphere suits HWANG MIN HYUN very well”, “It’s sober but even more atmospheric”, “I’m also curious about the concept after “DOT””, “I’m looking forward to seeing what story will be contained in “OUR””.
On the other hand, HWANG MIN HYUN will publish the official photos of the “TRACE” and “FACE” versions on the 3rd and 4th respectively at 10 PM KST. Then, starting from Seoul from the 16th to the 18th, he will hold the “2026 HWANG MIN HYUN fan meeting “Dowonkyung”” in Tokyo, Macao, and Taipei, and will meet his global fans.
