BTOB : JUNG IL HOON at the army and latest news of the band

A brand new picture of JUNG IL HOON wearing the army’s uniform has been published.

Enlisted since 2020, May 28th the rapper of the KPOP band BTOB has already appeared on 3 picutres wearing his army uniform.

The singer had explained, before his departure, that he didn’t give any news to his fans because he was feeling sad since the departure of the two other members YOOK SUNG JAE and LIM HYUN SIK as they went to the army on May 11th, as 3 weeks before his own enlistment. It’s only few hours before the start that the star published a message for his fans on his Instagram, explaining he was about to enlist but not giving any date.

I will come back with a healthier and happy look. I hope you will be happy in the meantime. […] I love you once again, Melody !

The rapper seems to get used to the army were he is doing well and seem to be in good health. He will be back from the army on 2022, February 22nd.

LEE CHANG SUB : enlisted on 2019 January, 19th, to be discharged on 2020 August, 21st

The members have had decided to not enlist all at the same time as the rapper PENIEL, american citizen, has no duty to military service. LEE CHANG SUB had announced, during an interview: “Since PENIEL doesn’t have to go to the military, at least one member will have to stay behind because we can’t leave him alone. We all love each other a lot. We are a family”.

With 5 members out of 7 currecntly serving, we could believe that the band would not be showing up much. Wrong idea as, since his discharge on April 7th, the leader SEO EUN KWANG did appear on several broadcasts and has, on June 8th, released his very first solo album called “FoRest ENTRANCE”, main title being “No One Knows”.

The album, released in SILVER version and LIGHT version (SILVER LIGHT is the nickname of the singer, EUN meaning Silver and KWANG meaning Light), has already known a great success with more than 8700 sales within less than 24h on HANTEO. Here is the tracklist : “Dear My dear”, “Nobody Knows”, “Have a nice day”, “Walk”, “Love again”, “Blue bird”, “The four seasons”. Talented artists such as KZ AND BEAR GROUP, BIG SANCHO or JEON SANG MIN participated to the production of SEO EUN KWANG‘s album. The song “Love again” has been composed and arranged by the composer and vocalist from BTOB, LIM HYUN SIK and SEO EUN KWANG has been writing the lyrics.

As a reminder, most of the members of BTOB have released a solo album, using the time when the leader was at the army :

“PIECE OF BTOB” : project released in 2017, this album was composed, for the first time, of each member’s solo songs.
2018 March : rapper JUNG IL HOON released “BIG WAVE” with the main titles as “Big Wave”, “She’s Gone” & “Always”
2018 December : singer and vocalist LEE CHANG SUB released “MARK” with the main title as “Gone”.
2019 January : rapper and singer LEE MIN HYUK released “HUTAZONE”, HUTA being his nickname. Main titles are “Ya” & “Tonight (With Melody)” (Melody is the name of BTOB’s fandom). He reveals a soft and melodious voice as the fans are used to hear a low voice rapper.
2019 October : singer and vocalist LIM HYUN SIK released “RENDEZ-VOUS” as main titles being “Dear Love” & “Swimming”.
2020 March : singer and vocalist YOOK SUNG JAE released “YOOK O’ CLOCK” with main titles “Comme With The Wind” & “Hypnotized” (feat PENIEL)
2020 June : leader, singer and vocalist SEO EUN KWANG will release “FoRest ENTRANCE” with main titles as “Dear My Dear”&“No One Knows”.
PENIEL, rapper, has released several solo songs on digital platforms such as “Fly 23” or “That Girl”.
