Group SEVENTEEN leads the singles ranking for the first Japanese semester of 2020 Oricon.

On June 19th, SEVENTEEN ranked fifth in the oricon Japan singles ranking, in the first half of the year, with its second single “Fallin’ Flower“, showing its popularity as the only Korean artist ranked in the T0P10 list.
In particular, SEVENTEEN‘s second single in Japan dominated the “New Oricon Weekly Singles Ranking”, exceeding 334,000 singles sales for the first time, followed by its previous album “Happy Ending“, exceeding 200,000 singles sales, becoming the first foreign male artist to record more than 200,000 singles, for the first time, twice in a row.
In response, SEVENTEEN posted a large increase in the unique ranking of the largest sales site in Japan. This proves once again the remarkable potential of SEVENTEEN, which beats its own record by recording the best performances on each album.
In addition, the seventh mini-album “HENG:GARAE“, due out on June 22nd, also receives unusual responses in Japan. Despite preorders on the Japanese music site HMV on June 19th, the overall version of the album went from first to fourth place.
SEVENTEEN will release their seventh mini-album “HENG:GARAE” at 6 pm on June 22nd. Before that, a press conference will take place at 4 pm and a “return show” will take place at 7 pm via the digital channels Mnet and M2, which will be broadcast simultaneously around the world.
