B.I.G is celebrating its 6th anniversary. The fans are gathering through various projects to show their appreciation and celebrate their 6 years of career.
B.I.G is a group from GH ENTERTAINMENT who made their debut on July 9th, 2014 with the song « Hello ». They were quickly noticed thanks to this single created to support the Korean soccer team for FIFA 2014 and with lyrics celebrating the Korean culture.
In the beginning, the group was composed of 5 members, J-HOON, BENJI, GUNMIN, MINPYO and HEEDO. Five years later, the family welcomed JINSEOK on January 19th, 2019, while J-HOON was fulfilling his military duty.
B.I.G is a small group from a small company. Despite that, they’ve been noticed and loved by a growing number of fans years after years. Their popularity exploded in 2019 when they covered « La Bezzaf » from the group THE5 on KBS World Arabic on January 26th, 2019. This first song covered in Arabic language will be followed by others and will consolidate their popularity. In the Arabic countries, everybody knows now the group and its 6 members whose talent and charisma have no longer to be demonstrated.
Their 6th anniversary was an opportunity for the fans around the world to gather together to say “thank you” and show their support. Biginnings (the name of B.I.G‘s fandom) were able to raise enough money to buy not only one but two subway video ads for the group.
Besides the snacks, the flowers, the cakes and other gifts, Biginnings also gave 50kg of rice to people in need under the name of B.I.G.
For a month, they also showed their affection for the group on social media with the hashtag #6yearswithBIG explaining every day why they love each member, how B.I.G changed their life, what they learn from the 6 boys as well as sharing their favorite moments with them, and their words were really touching and full of love.
To celebrate this special day, BENJI, GUNMIN, MINPYO, HEEDO and JINSEOK were on V-Live, surrounded by the gifts they received. They thanked the fans from the bottom of their heart for all the presents and they also talked about the past 6 years of their career reacting live to all their MV and sharing exclusive anecdotes. The highlight of the celebration was certainly the phone call to J-HOON, happy to talk with the fans and looking forward to see them again soon after his military duty.
