On August 17th 2020, BARON posts a letter on the group’s fancafe, announcing his military enlistment date.
BARON always had a way with words, but today, the letter feared by VAMPZ got published. BARON announces that he will have to go to his military service on September 7th 2020, which is also the birth date of JACOB, another member of VAV. We don’t know yet in which sector BARON will go, but some people think he chose to go in the marines because he is supposed to come back on March 7th 2022. The military service in the marines is the hardest but also the one who takes the least amount of time, so BARON will stay for a year and a half in the army.
His departure seems to happen earlier than expected because VAV has an upcoming comeback in September. ATeam Entertainment announced today, August 18th, on their Twitter account (@VAV_official) that the group will not be able to do their promotions with all the 7 members, as originally planned.
VAMPZ were preparing themselves since a few months about BARON‘s departure, and now they are also starting to prepare themselves for ACE‘s departure, who was born in 1992 as well. Even if the pain is big, the fans are even more determinated to give VAV their first win, to make the members and BARON proud, even if he will not be around anymore at that time.
