This October 22nd, 2020 marks the 24th anniversary of the artist, KIM HANBIN (also know as B.I).
At midnight, Korean standard time, hashtags were lovingly autographed for B.I., for a few hours the whole world could see in the top tweets: #HappyBirthdayHanbin, #SoloistHanbinBirthday and #원앤온리_김한빈_생일축하해 ;Translation: #One&Only_Kim_Hanbin_Joyeuxanniversaire. A hashtag referring to one of the former IKON rapper’s solo tracks: «One and only ».
The song is available in their album «RETURN», released in 2018.

And as a gift for their idol, the fans decided to make many donations for people in need both in Korea and abroad.
In Burma, the fans set up a project to donate for the young man’s birthday, reaching out to modest families by distributing food and masks to help them cope with the COVID-19 epidemic.

Fans also donated 300 Australian dollars (about 180 euros) to «World Vision Australia», a Melbourne-based Christian non-governmental organization that focuses on poor children by trying to improve their daily lives by improving water quality, educating them and also trying to provide care.
And in Korea, fans also made generous donations to the «Angels’ Haven for Children»association, with the various fanbases of the artist sharing the tasks.
Gifts, vacuum cleaners, pillows and masks were distributed for the children and volunteers to enjoy this special day.
The photos taken by the association were accompanied by a text of thanks, both to the fans who were numerous for this occasion and to the artist, thanking him for being born.

The young man, now 24 years old, was born in Goyang, a suburb north of Seoul, on October 22, 1996. Starting rapping at the age of 13, he turned to the stage at a young age by signing with an entertainment agency MC MONG before finally turning to YG ENTERTAINMENT in January 2011.
But his contract came to an abrupt end in June 2019 after being accused of buying psychotropic products.
He made a big hit with the show “WIN: Who Is Next?” as leader of TEAM B. He was also one of the first three IKON members to be revealed.
