BENJI‘s contract with his previous k-pop agency, GH Entertainment, was terminated on September 30th, 2020. He is now an independent artist. He shares a lot with his fans on social media and is building a community growing day by day.

He explains that he is currently filming for the show SEE WHAT I SEE 2. This show introduces many aspects of the Korean culture and life to foreigners with the help of English speakers guests.

Tuesday, October 20th
BENJI is live in K-POPPIN’ on Arirang Radio. He covers the song « Flower » by JOHNNY STIMPSON and talks about his new career as an independent artist.
He also publishes new photos on his Instagram.

The same day, he invites the drummer HWANG MINJAE, with whom he was in the temporary group MONÉ formed in SUPERBAND and participated in the Seoul Drum Festival on August, 21st 2020. ZAIRO, who was a singer in guitarist in the same group, joins them a bit later.
Friday, October 23rd
BENJI meets his fans on Twitch to finish the horror game Home Sweet Home.
Saturday, October 24th
BENJI uploads his first original track on Youtube. Its name is « Going On » and talks about the will to keep going on despite the difficulties and the confusion that we can sometimes feel in life. The music is calm and relaxing, inviting us to dream and chill.
It’s not an official comeback for now, but a gift to the fans.
