SM Entertainment has announced its position on a GIRLS ‘GENERATION (SNSD)’s comeback.
Amid reports of preparations for a possible return of the eight-member group, on February 19th, the head of SM Entertainment dismissed the announcement, saying
«nothing has been decided».
TAEYEON, SUNNY, HYOYEON, YURI and YOONA are still within SM Entertainment, but TIFFANY, SOOYOUNG and SEOHYUN are affiliated with different agencies, so for this to be possible a lot of coordination is needed.
However, since the members of GIRLS ‘GENERATION are known to constantly interact and talk about group activities, it is not a clear no that is being proclaimed.
GIRLS ‘GENERATION released their sixth studio album “HOLIDAY NIGHT” in August 2017.
