HYUNJIN, a member of the group STRAY KIDS, who has conveyed his apologies after being implicated in allegations of school violence, will shut down his activities and engage in personal reflection.

JYP Entertainment, the group’s agency, explained in a statement issued on February 27th: “We have contacted all those related to the HYUNJIN’s accusation to attend a meeting to clarify matters.“
“It takes a while in the process, so we have announced the discontinuation of HYUNJIN’s activities. HYUNJIN will reflect after stopping all of his activities as an artist.“
The agency said, “HYUNJIN will sincerely repent and reflect on himself for hurting many people with harsh and inappropriate words in middle school. We sincerely apologize for causing you great anxiety.” Likewise HYUNJIN is excused “I sincerely apologize to those who were injured and will do my best to treat their injuries.“
Recently, online revelations from netizens claiming to have suffered damage such as verbal abuse and sexual harassment from HYUNJIN during his school years have sparked controversy. In response, HYUNJIN posted an apology in its own words on February 26th,
“I’m so sorry to have disappointed the people who cheered me on.”
In addition, the agency also apologized and made the decision to stop HYUNJIN’s activities for now.
