When TVXQ‘s U-KNOW YUNHO was caught in a police arrest while hosting a late night drinking party in violation of safety regulations, it was confirmed that his whereabouts were a entertainment bar not allowed.
According to the Yonhap News Agency on March 12th, U-KNOW YUNHO was caught drinking late at night at a bar in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul at the end of last month, and was accused of violating the law on the prevention and management of infectious diseases (for covid19).
The bar was registered as a general restaurant at the district office and in effect functioned as an unauthorized entertainment bar with “female employees”.
The Gangnam-gu District Office plans to impose administrative measures on the facility for violating quarantine rules and operating unauthorized entertainment bars when the police investigation is completed.
On the other hand, when U-KNOW YUNHO and others were arrested, some of the attendants positioned themselves in front of the room where the party was being held to drink and protested to the police, but did not use any physical or verbal abuse or attempted to flee.
U-KNOW YUNHO apologized on Instagram for not respecting the social distancing rules in force in South Korea today.
