The “Fantasy Idols” KINGDOM has unveiled its schedule and entered the comeback countdown.
GF Entertainment has released a schedule with release dates for content from KINGDOM’s second mini-album on its official SNS at midnight on June 8th, warming the mood for the comeback.
According to the published schedule, KINGDOM is releasing various content, such as individual concept photos, track listing, a medley and three video teasers, starting with concept group photos. The vast worldview and perfect concept shown in the debut album is enough to raise global K-pop fans’ expectations for the new album.
KINGDOM is a seven member group made up of MUZIN, LOUIS, DANN, CHIWOO, ARTHUR, IVAN and JAHAN. The group’s name, which means Seven Kings from Seven Kingdoms, is the pioneer of a new genre called “Fantasy K-pop” in conjunction with KINGDOM’s vast worldview.
Her debut album, “HISTORY OF KINGDOM: Part I“, was released in February. Arthur’s title song “Excalibur” is about ARTHUR, a member of KINGDOM. The second episode of “HISTORY OF KINGDOM“, which will feature a total of eight albums, already raises questions about the story that will unfold.
In particular, KINGDOM got the qualifier of “Fantasy idol” for its beautiful clip, as if you were watching a movie. In musical programs, he also captivated audiences with his unlike rookie-like singing ability and impressive dance performance.
KINGDOM also entered the iTunes charts in the US and UK at the same time as its debut, and quickly rose to the rank of “fourth generation idol star” with a surge in popularity in North America, which is unusual for a young idol group.
