YEOSANG : Today is ATEEZ’ visual member’s birthday

On June 15th, we are celebrating YEOSANG‘s birthday, who is the visuel member of boy group ATEEZ.

YEOSANG is known to be a singer, dancer and the visual of ATEEZ. His fans know that he likes skatboarding, playing with his drones and that he is a really kind person. He is also the closest to co-member WOOYOUNG since they were trainees in the company BigHit Entertainment before both going to KQ Entertainment.

Before being one of ATEEZ‘s members, he belonged to KQ’s project entitled KQ Fellaz. The trainees’ life was shown through videos and the company focused on showing their last months as trainees. The eight trainees had to go to Los Angeles to improve their dancing skills by taking dance class to the famous “Millennium Dance Complex”. At this time, the trainees gathered people’s attention thanks to a performance video that quickly had one million views on YouTube and made them already popular.

On October 24, 2018, the trainees became members of ATEEZ, and released their first mini-album which belonged to a serie of comebacks on the theme of “TREASURE”. After promoting with “Pirate King” and “Say My Name”, the group performed a side-track called “HALA HALA” which was a success. YEOSANG‘s visual was quickly famous because he always looks perfect despite his changes of hair, concept, make-up and style. He is also compared to a statue thanks to his flawless features.

In 2019, ATEEZ gained more and more popularity and the group was even able to sold out its first American and European tour, which is a recode for a rookie group. YEOSANG was also popular thanks to his 2019 Halloween costume. Indeed, he was dressed as Harley Quinn and many people said it suited him really well thanks to his beauty.

YEOSANG did many projects and comebacks in 2019 and 2020 alongside his co-members. Comeback after comeback, YEOSANG took more lines in ATEEZ‘ songs and gained confidence that could be seen on stage.

In early 2020, the group was still closed to their fans thanks to many contents such as covers, reality shows, concerts, awards and so on. In July 2020, the group announced they would have a comeback and it would be the first one of the new theme “FEVER”. On July 29, 2020, ATEEZ promoted with a new title-song entitled “Inception” which gave the members a victory on a music show. The group’s latest victory was during “WAVE”‘s promotion in summer 2019.

We can say that YEOSANG is a talented artist who is known to be a kind person, but he is also really frank. Indeed, he is often straightforward and his co-members are now kind of afraid of hearing his remarks.

Recently, YEOSANG participated in Mnet’ show “KINGDOM : Legendary War” with ATEEZ‘ members. The group was able to show its skills in order to become the best one. The performance under is a remake of title-song “WONDERLAND”, and was selected as the best one from the show’s first round.
