YOUNG K, member of the group DAY6, will be alone.
JYP Entertainment, the group’s agency, announced on August 22nd that YOUNG K will be releasing his debut mini album “ETERNAL” on September 6th on all music sites.
This new album “ETERNAL” was named by YOUNG K himself. Real name Kang Young Hyun, he found the English word meaning “forever” and sincerely expressed

YOUNG K debuted with DAY6 in September 2015 and continued to work on songs such as “Congratulations”, “You were beautiful“, “Time of our life” and “Zombie” to earn the nickname “믿듣데 ( 믿고 듣는 데이식스) (DAY6 in whom we believe and listen)“. In August 2020, the group presented the first unit of DAY6, Day6 Even of Day, with WONPIL and DOWOON, showing broad musicality.
In particular, the band was active in April this year, releasing DAY6’s seventh mini album “THE BOOK OF US – Negentropy – Chaos Swallowed Up in Love” and July’s second mini album “RIGHT THROUGHT ME” by the DAY6 EVEN OF DAY sub-unit.
YOUNG K recently announced the news of his solo album, as well as his enlistment, which will be released six years after his debut, via Naver V LIVE. “I’ll be joining the army in October to do my national defense duty. I think it’s the best music I can do now, so I’ve prepared a new album. My first solo album. It’s going to be fun. Please look forward to it.“
