HYUNJAE : Happy birthday to THE BOYZ’s visual and singer

On September 13, we are celebrating LEE JAEHYUN’s birthday who is better known as HYUNJAE from THE BOYZ.

HYUNJAE is known to be a model, a singer and a dancer from THE BOYZ. He loves watching Iron Man movies, playing sports and is really talkative. He is crazy about Korean fried chicken and can guess several brands of chicken just by tasting them. He has a good memory and he is the one who always remembers many details about the other members. Also, he has many special talents such as being able to spin books or anything else on his fingers. He forms with JUYEON and YOUNGHOON THE BOYZ‘s Bermuda Triangle because they are really handome and they attract people’s attention.

Alongside his co-members, HYUNJAE participated in a reality show entitled “Flower Snack” just before debuting in order to gain popularity and reveal each of the members. THE BOYZ debuted on December 6, 2017, with title-song “Boy”. After that, the group made many comebacks without rest and showed a bright, cute and cool side with synchronized choreographies. It was during title-song “No Air”‘s promotion that the group and the other members had more confidence during their filming and on stage. The group changed its style to become more mature with more intense choreographies and it attracted people’s attention. During this promotion, fans praised HYUNJAE for his stage presence during his center parts while performing. This song’s popularity helped THE BOYZ gaining more fans who then worked hard in order to give the group a first win in a music show with title-song “Bloom Bloom”.

2020 was really THE BOYZ‘s year. Indeed, the eleven members all worked hard to become even better and show many people their unique teamwork and perfect performances. First, thanks to a first album and title-song “REVEAL”, the group tried a new concept which was mystical and seductive. Because THE BOYZ tried to show new sides of themselves, the group’s agency started a new project entitled “GENERATION Z”. In May 2020, several short individual videos were released to introduce each of the members. They were all able to talk freely about themselves and answer question in order to be better known as humans and as normal young men. In the video under, you can discover different sides of HYUNJAE, who answers questions with a bright smile.

Between March and June 2020, HYUNJAE participated with his co-members to the reality show “Road to Kingdom” in which seven boy groups had to prepare performances in order to show the best stages and become the winner. THE BOYZ showed the best performances during most of the episodes thanks to a perfect teamwork and was also compared to a professional dance crew. During the show, HYUNJAE had many hair styles and makeup and he was praised for perfectly fit each of the concepts.

On June 12, 2020, THE BOYZ released title-song “CHECKMATE” for the show’s last episode and its success helped the group showing an impressive stage once again. The eleven members tried their best and were able to win the show to go to “Kingdom”. HYUNJAE was praised for his great skills as an artist and his famous duet with JUYEON in “CHECKMATE” s performance.

After that, THE BOYZ made a comeback in the same spirit as “Road to Kingdom”‘s performances with title-song “The Stealer”. This comeback’s promotion was a real success and this song was so popular that the group won many trophies at music shows and awards at the end of the year’s ceremonies.

In early 2021, THE BOYZ participated in Mnet’ show “Kingdom: Legendary War” and this was the turning point of the group’s popularity, gaining twice the number of fans and being recognized by more and more people. Korean and international fans did their best to support the group during the show and the eleven members worked hard to do their very best. THE BOYZ tried many concepts for their performances in order to impress the audience and the other teams, ending up at the 2nd place at the end of the show. HYUNJAE has been popular online from the first episode for his close-up shots during performance “The Stealer (Epic version)”.

Recently, THE BOYZ made a comeback eleven months after the latest one and decided to promote with a refreshing title-song “THRILL RIDE”, which is the perfect track to spend a cool and entertaining summer. The group won five victories at musical broadcasts and broke several records gaining much more attention from a larger audience. HYUNJAE was able to show his charms during this promotion with his facial expressions on stage, his soothing voice and his legendary wink at the beginning of the MV, as you can see under.
