The group SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, Dogyeom, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino) is writing a new story with constant gradual growth.
According to Pledis Entertainment, cumulative sales of SEVENTEEN albums have exceeded 10.13 million domestic albums (as of November 12), 6 years and 6 months after its debut in May 2015. This milestone is a significant achievement for SEVENTEEN, who showed endless growth by setting their own new record for each album.
SEVENTEEN’s debut album, its debut mini album “17 CARAT” recorded only 1,400 initial sales (record sales a week after its release), but it has surpassed 110,000 cumulative sales thanks to continued love.
The second mini album “BOYSBE” and the first full album “FIRST LOVE & LETTER” proved that the formula of “Spring SEVENTEEN Autumn Winter” worked by rising to 190,000 sales, the special album “DIRECTOR’S CUT” and the second mini album “GOING SEVENTEEN” went up to 200,000 sales, then the fourth mini album “Al1” and the second full album “TEEN, AGE” sold over 300,000 copies.
SEVENTEEN’s growth did not stop there. The 5th mini-album “YOU MAKE MY DAY”, which contains the most beautiful and youngest moments, has exceeded 400,000 copies, and the 6th mini-album “YOU MADE MY DAWN“, which contains an appearance and more mature musical abilities, exceeded 500,000 copies, showing frightening growth and excellent musicality.
