SEVENTEEN will continue its sensation shortly after the MV’s pre-release, releasing the Japanese special single “あいのちから“, which will mark the grand finale of the “Power of Love 2021” project, which spoke about the different moments of love that can be encountered in life today.
Immediately after the song’s pre-release on the 29th of last month, the Japanese special single “あいのちから” hit the charts in realtime on major Japanese music sites Line Music, AWA and Rakuten Music, and the songs “Home (Japanesever.)” and “Snap Shoot (Japanesver.)” have long been at the top of the charts in real time.
“あいのちから” is SEVENTEEN’s first winter song and Japan’s first ballad song. It contains SEVENTEEN’s love for the Carats (name of the fan club), who always support them with a “power of love” even in cold and difficult situations like winter.
The clip “’あいのちから” begins with WONWOO’s narration, “This is our story, a day the white snow has fallen”, and fills the video with bright visuals and soft voices from SEVENTEEN to provide a warm sensibility and a comfort.
SEVENTEEN earned double platinum certification with his third Japanese single “ひとりじゃない” released in April, surpassing 200,000 sales in the first week, so it is expected to continue with “あいのちから.”
