AIVAN is celebrating his 30 years old and we wish him a happy birthday by writing this article about a really active year for the artist.
AIVAN is a singer, producer, and musician from Evermore Entertainment. He was born on 17 December 1997 in South Korea but he was mostly raised in Canada with his parents and his older sister. He grew up in a musical environment and he quickly started to dream about becoming a singer.
In 2011, he came back to South Korea to live there and fulfill his dream.

In 2021, the artist was particularly productive, performing covers, concerts, a comeback, and more. KSTATION TV wanted to sum up everything for you to make sure that you wouldn’t miss anything.
A world tour in music
AIVAN started a music world tour in July 2020 with the project Aivan Cover Airline. In 2021, he came closer to the European continent with a cover of the Turkish song « Galaksi » by ECE MUMAY.
The singer is always involved in those covers, taking time to work on the arrangements and on the pronunciation in foreign languages. The fans noticed all the hard work and really enjoyed his version of the song.
But the travel didn’t stop there. He explored the European musical repertoire in Polish with « Ale jazz! » by SANAH and VITO BAMBINO, in Italian with the song that won the Eurovision, « Zitti e buoni » by MANESKIN, and more recently in English with « Mirror » from the Norway artist SIGRID.
Every time, AIVAN gives a new vibe and a new impact on the popular songs.
Besides Aivan Cover Airline, he also did a beautiful cover of a Korean song « 한번 더 이별 » by SUNG SI KYUNG featuring the artist EUIJIN.
A comeback for spring
In May 2021, AIVAN released a comeback untitled « Artificial Intelligence ». The song was written from an artificial intelligence device’s perspective that starts having feelings for its owner.
The melody with its jazzy tune is really soft and warm. The charming voice of the singer makes you feel relaxed and invites you to daydream.
He wrote the song in 2018 while he was working on his master thesis. He got inspired by a study about the emotions that humans feel in front of artificial intelligence devices.

Concerts
The NAVIAs living in Seoul were lucky to meet directly their idol on stage during two concerts in a club and in a pub. He performed with the group EVERMORE THE YOUNG for the occasion. In the lineup, there were his own songs like his debut song « Curious » or « Tell The World », « Pointless » and many more titles. There were also covers like « Adore You » by Harry Style that he already sang in a mashup.
Thanks to two behind the scenes’s videos we can learn more about the atmosphere before, after, and during the concerts.
A passion for photography
Passionate with music since his childhood, the fans also learned that AIVAN was fond of photography through his Instagram account dedicated to it. He is mainly using a film camera and shares the photos that he took with his Canon TX.

Guest on HOTBEAT
AIVAN is an artist close to his fans and his contribution as a guest during HOTBEAT’s segment on Arirang Radio creates more time to exchange with the people supporting him. Every Thursday, he is the guest of « Stuck in the middle A or B » with DJ HOWON from W24.
The rules for the show are simple: there is a question every week with two possible choices. The DJ, the guest, and the listeners choose the answer that fits them the most during the show or on Instagram.
For example: “What if your friend gifted you a lottery ticket and it wins?”
