IMFACT: Could this be the year of a lot of change?

Four members of the IMFACT group are leaving the agency that gave birth to the group.

On his Instagram UNG JAE, the youngest member of the group writes a message for fans in Korean and English:

“Hello, I’m Na Ung Jae. As of January 3, 2022, the contract with Star Empire has ended. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all staffs of the company and CEO Shin Joo-hak who have cared for me since I was young at the age of 16. And please continue to support and pay attention to the activities of not only me but also 5 members.

It’s very cold. Everyone, be careful not to catch a cold. I will cheer for you to be full of good things in 2022. Thank you always and I love you.“

LEE SANG does the same on his Instagram in Korean:

“팬 여러분들 안녕하세요 이상입니다. 2022년 1월 3일부로 저는 스타제국과의 전속 계약이 해지되었습니다. 임팩트라는 그룹을 통해 데뷔했고 많은 팬분들께 사랑받아 너무 행복했습니다 앞으로도 임팩트라는 이름은 계속해서 아끼고 소중하게 두려고 합니다. 스타제국이라는 회사를 통해 많은 일들을 겪었고 또 성장할 수 있었습니다. 저는 앞으로도 씩씩하게 저의 삶을 잘 살아가보려고 합니다. 저뿐만 아니라 저희 멤버들의 활동도 많은 응원 부탁드립니다. 마지막으로 신주학 대표님 그리고 스타제국 식구들 그동안 감사했습니다❤️”

For JE UP who posts a photo of a large tattoo on his arm on his Instagram account, he expresses the same information.

First of all, I’m sorry to suddenly break this news to you. On January 3, 2022, my exclusive contract with Star Empire was terminated. Thanks to the staff who have worked hard so far, and thanks to CEO Shin Joo-hak for doing his best to help me. I cannot tell you about my appearance in the future yet. Thank you for your interest and support for JE UP from IMFACT, a member of Star Empire.”

Finally the leader JI AN who has been absent from social networks for a while also publishes this announcement:

“IF (name of fandom), I’m sorry to break this heavy news to you. In conclusion, I have terminated my contract with Star Empire. It was a company that I am grateful for, that allowed me to meet the FIs and the joy of getting started since I was an intern, but due to the circumstances I could not be with them anymore so we decided to conclude our relationship well for each other. I think the biggest concern of FIs after hearing this news is whether IMFACT will go its separate ways. All IMFACT members continued their activities in such a difficult situation, and their military service overlapped, making it difficult to work as a group at the moment. However, I hope that all members will always be together, cherish IMFACT, draw a day when everyone will happily work again in a good environment, develop their own abilities and always try to meet the FIs again. So I want to tell you that this is not a separation. IMFACT members will work hard in the future. Please cheer us on and let’s always be healthy and happy! To finish TAEHO, who is currently in the army, is the only one who has not expressed his choice, so we will have to wait a little longer to know if he remains in the agency, having made his solo debut or if he too will choose to go on a new adventure.

The agency expresses the fact that several members, whose contracts have come to an end, have not renewed them after discussions and mutual agreement. She recalls that the group made its debut in 2016 and thanks the fans for supporting them.
