ATEEZ excited the world with the vibe of “Whimori Rhythm”.

In the recently launched ATEEZ exclusive reality show “Wanted Special (원티드 스페셜)“, ATEEZ members HONG JOONG, SEONG HWA, SAN, and WOO YOUNG visited Gyeongju, where history and culture date back to a millennium.
Those who matched the concept of wearing blue outfits with the energy and concept of “Hwarang” visited Cheomseongdae, the landmark of Gyeongju, and showed their historical knowledge by solving related problems. In addition, the group attracted the attention of tourists by participating in the preparation of different specialties, SAN amazing the group with its strength.
In particular, ATEEZ had a special time learning about traditional instruments at Yeakdang. SAN was in charge of “Drum”, which becomes a pillar of Samulnori (Korean music), SEONG HWA which plays the same role as the mother of rhythm with a “Gong”, HONG JOONG was in charge of “Janggu”, which connects the rhythm, and finally WOO YOUNG was in charge of “Kkwaengwari (little gong)”.
The four boys freely played a perfect “Whimori beat”, controlling the speed of the beat making it seem like it wasn’t their first attempt, and conveying excitement to those who watched and heard it with reactions like that “it was so much fun”. the quartet was particularly praised by the teacher who conducted the course saying, “As a group that promotes our culture, I feel reassured and proud to see you adapting directly to traditional music“.

ATEEZ, which promotes Korea’s various tastes and specialties through “Wanted Special”, recently established itself as a leader in K-pop by successfully wrapping up its 2022 world tour “THE FELLOWSHIP: BEGINNING OF THE END” on the American continent.
Additionally, the title track “Deja vu” from the seventh mini album “Zero: FEVER Part 3” is selected in the top 5 of the KPOP category of the 2021 JOOX Top Music Awards by Malaysian music streaming service “JOOX.”
