Actor PARK BO GUM completed his military service today.

PARK BO GUM was recently discharged from the army on February 21 after requesting the unit to utilize remaining personal vacations and pre-discharge vacations. The Department of National Defense is currently implementing a policy to release from the military without returning to camp when using personal vacations prior to release to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Blossom Entertainment stated, “It is true that PARK BO GUM is currently on vacation. He is due to return to the military on April 30 after his vacation is exhausted.
“Until April 30, the day of the liberation, I am considered a soldier and I will take the opportunity to rest.” – PARK BO GUM
PARK BO GUM joined the Army as a Navy Private in August 2020 and served in the Promotional Force of Navy Military Band Battalion.
On February 10, he was the instructor for Exemplary Leader Soldier’s Successful Military Service Case Education” held at the Naval Education Command Boot Camp Education Center and briefed recruits on his experience and of his know-how in military life.
At the time, he reportedly advised, “Remember that the period of military service is a precious time for your own development, and I hope you achieve what you promised with a positive mindset and a healthy appearance.“
PARK BO GUM, who was born in 1993, turned 29, had a break due to his military service after tvN’s drama “Record of youth“. Attention is focused on whether he will continue operations after April.
