GHOST9: A first positive case in the group

GHOST9 member LEE KANG SUNG has been confirmed to be infected with COVID-19.

Maroo Entertainment, the group’s agency, said on March 17,

“LEE ANG SUNG experienced cold symptoms the night before and confirmed a positive test through a COVID-19 self-test. Subsequently, he performed a rapid antigen test at the hospital, it was finally confirmed that he was infected with COVID-19.”

LEE KANG SUNG has completed the second vaccination of the COVID-19 vaccine. There are no symptoms other than mild cold symptoms. In accordance with guidelines from health authorities, group members will temporarily suspend activities and isolate positive members to focus on their recovery.

All of the members except LEE KANG SUNG are not showing any particular symptoms at the moment. All tested negative through a rapid antigen test.

Recently, the number of confirmed cases has skyrocketed, with more than 600,000 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 per day, resulting in a string of confirmed cases in the music industry.
