The drummer of FTISLAND, CHOI MIN HWAN, collapsed during a concert.
FTISLAND (Lee Hong ki, Lee Jae Jin, CHoi Min Hwan) held a concert on January 31 at Kintex in Ilsan, Goyang, during “2026 FIRST MUSIC STATION”.
That day, CHOI MIN HWAN suddenly collapsed during the performance, causing concern among fans. The concert continued and ended as planned thanks to the intervention of a substitute musician present on site.
Regarding this, the agency FNC ENTERTAINMENT stated: “During the ‘2026 FIRST MUSIC STATION’ concert held today, FTISLAND member CHOI MIN HWAN showed a drop in condition and needed to rest.”
They added: “The artist experienced temporary exhaustion during the concert and was attended to by medical staff. His health currently shows no major issues.”
The agency specified: “He is resting and currently taking the necessary time to recover, and we continue to monitor his health condition. We ask for fans’ understanding regarding the concern caused and will do our best to manage future concerts with even more caution, closely monitoring the artists’ health.”
