CHAN MI, member of the AOA group, changed her last name to that of her mother.
CHAN MI posted on her SNS today, “Do you remember I decided to do everything I wanted to do this year?”
“One of them is to change my last name. I wanted to do it since I was 20, but I finally did it this year because I was busy before,” says she.
“At 27, I finally get my mother’s name.”
In the confirmation letter, you can see the request for issuance of a new resident registration card whose surname has been changed from the existing name KIM CHAN MI to LIM CHAN MI. CHA MI posted the confirmation letter saying:
“It was so special to me that I wanted to share it with you.”
CHAN MI is known to have only lived with her mother since her parents’ divorce.
CHAN MI debuted as a member of AOA in 2012 and gained popularity with hit songs such as “Short skirt” and “Like a cat”. She starred in the movie “Refresh” released in February.
