The BLANK2Y group has announced a major event to continue its promotion.
BLANK2Y (U, DK, Sodam, Louis, Youngbin, Siwoo, Sungjun, Mikey, Donghyuk) will hold a “Blossom the Hope 2022 Blanky Hope Concert” at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul at 7 p.m. KST on May 28, and a series of movie date at Megabox COEX at 9 p.m. KST.
Organized by COEX, Gangnam-gu Office and KEYSTONE Entertainment, the concert will take place as part of the “Blossom the Hope 2022” festival, for which BLANK2Y recently served as the PR ambassador. BLANK2Y will hold a face-to-face and video-call fan signing event at COEX Studio 159 and perform a special performance on the outdoor stage set up in the plaza.
This gift from BLANKL2Y for global K2YWE (fandom) will not be an end. The group will prepare for a romantic date at the cinema on the same day. BLANK2Y will attract 200 people from fans who attended the concert and buyers of the recently released first mini album and give them an invitation ticket to the cinema (two tickets per person) on the same day.
Also, before and after the movie begins, BLANK2Y will directly extend their gratitude to their fans. After the screening, the group planned to show their true “fan lover” side by presenting Polaroids with autographs via a lottery.
Earlier, BLANK2Y said, “Thanks to K2YWE, who gave us their love and support, BLANK2Y was able to debut safely. We are thinking about how to return this gratitude. We are preparing for this concert and a see you at the cinema. We are very nervous to meet our fans. We hope it will be a pleasant memory for K2YWE”.
BLANK2Y made its surprise debut with its first mini album “K2Y I: CONFIDENCE [Thumbs up]” on May 24. In particular, the album topped the Hanteo Chart daily album chart with 32,431 copies sold in one day on May 25. The music video for title track “Thumbs up” shows BLANK2Y’s “Super Rookie” huge popularity, surpassing 2.6 million views on YouTube within 24 hours of its release.
