ASTRO: The group leaves for Japan for another concert

The group ASTRO sold out all the concert tickets in Japan, exerting its influence on the Korean wave.

ASTRO will hold its solo concert “The 3rd ASTROAD to JAPAN [STARGAZER]” at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in Japan on June 3-4 and meet Japanese fans in person.

From the start of the reservation, 40,000 places were sold. Moreover, the live concert will not only be broadcast offline but also online thanks to the love of many fans. ASTRO proved the potential of Hallyu idols by boasting that they sold out tickets for concerts in Japan after a long time after Korea.

ASTRO, who successfully completed “STARGAZER” at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul this weekend, will continue their fever in Japan and bring various delights to the audience. ASTRO, which is loved not only in Korea but also around the world, topped the iTunes Top Songs and Top Albums charts in 19 regions including Japan with its third full-length album “DRIVE TO THE STARRY ROAD.” and its title track “Candy sugar pop,” and even topped Gaon Chart’s 21st Week Best Album chart. In addition, during SBS MT’s “The Show”, MBC’s “Show! champion”, Mnet’s “M Countdown” and KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank” he won four awards for being at the top of the list, as well as positioning itself topped the Bugs Realtime Music chart, continuing his record-breaking streak day after day.

In particular, ASTRO is gaining popularity in Japan. Since its official debut in Japan in 2019, he has been one of the main K-POP performers in the country. With his eighth mini album “SWITCH ON” released last year, he topped the Oricon Overseas Album Chart and the overall album chart of all Tower Records stores. The second full album “ALL YOURS” also topped Oricon’s weekly album chart, gaining attention by achieving its own new record.
