ONG SEONG WU
Singer and actor ONG SEONG WU has been confirmed to be infected with COVID-19.
His agency Fantagio said on his official fan cafe on July 21, “On the 19th, our artist ONG SEONG WU performed self-test and antigen test as a preventive measure due to poor health condition and tested positive.”
The agency then said: “There are no particular symptoms other than mild sore throat, and we are suspending all activities for the artist and will focus on his self-isolation, treatment and recovery, in accordance with the guidelines of the quarantine authorities.“
Further, the agency added, “We ask for your understanding that we may have caused many people concern, but we will continue to regard the health of artists and staff as a top priority and do our best to help artists focus on their recovery.“
ONG SEONG WU will appear in the Netflix movie “Seoul Vibe“, which will be released on August 26.
