Group (G)I-DLE (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua) was selected as “2022 올해의 브랜드 대상 (2022 Brand of the Year Grand Prize)”.

At the “2022 Brand of the Year Awards” held today, (G)I-DLE and member SOYEON won the Girl Idols category and the Multi-Tainer category, respectively.
First, (G)I-DLE said, “Thank you so much for giving us the grand prize of Brand of the Year. (G)I-DLE will work harder and reward you with a better appearance.” The group then said, “We would like to thank everyone who helped us win this award, and we are so grateful to the Neverlands for always supporting and loving us.“
SOYEON, who was nominated in the multi-tainer (female) category, said, “I didn’t know I was going to qualify as a multi-tainer, but thank you for giving me this award. (G)I-DLE made a comeback with its first full album “I NEVER DIE” in March, ranking first in 24 regions worldwide on the iTunes Top Album chart and number one in 11 regions on the Top K-Pop charts albums and ranked 58th on the Billboard Global 200 chart. Additionally, the title track “Tomboy” ranked 34th on the Billboard Global Excl. American chart, and the music video recorded 160 million views, continuing its popularity.
