The group SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, Dokyeom, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino) have been nominated, for the first time, at the biggest award ceremony music award in Europe “MTV EMA.”
According to the list of nominees announced by the 2022 MTV European Music Awards (2022 MTV EMA) on the 12th (local time), SEVENTEEN was nominated in a total of three categories: Best K-Pop, Best New and Best Push.
SEVENTEEN has already been nominated for the U.S. Music Awards “2022 MTV Video Music Awards” for two consecutive years and won its first award in the “PUSH Performance of the Year” category, showing the power of an “irreplaceable leader of K- pop”.
“2022 MTV EMA” is an award ceremony to select Europe’s most popular songs and clips, and will be held at the PSD Bank Dome in Dusseldorf, Germany on the 13th of next month and will be broadcast live on MTV.
SEVENTEEN will wrap up their “SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [BET THE SUN]” international tour after playing in Singapore on the 13th, followed by a Japanese dome tour that will run from Osaka on November 19-20, Tokyo on November 26-27, and Aichi on December 3.
