MONSTA X: Even more involvement in all production

The group MONSTA X will fill its new album with various production skills.

MONSTA X, the group that “we believe in and we listen to“, will once again show its “growth idol” aspect through its 12th mini album “REASON”. The album, which will be released on January 9, contains various genres of music based on the higher-than-ever participation rate of members in the production.

The members added depth to MONSTA X‘s unique color with their participation, listing five tracks out of a total of six, from writing to composing to producing.

First of all, JOOHEON, who was responsible for MONSTA X‘s title track and served as the “direction key” to the group’s music, once again shows his musical solidity with “Crescendo” and “괜찮아 (It’s okay)“. While working on MONSTA X‘s songs and double track “Jumper” on junior group CRAVITY’s debut album, 2020’s mixtape “PSYCHE”, he’s garnering attention.

Member HYEONGWON, who was named, thanks to the album’s song “Lone ranger“, increases the comprehensiveness of the album with a wide musical spectrum. Starting with “Nobody else“, which was written, composed and produced for the first time since debuting on MONSTA X’s 2020 album “FATAL LOVE“, he worked on the group’s album, produced the member KIHYUN’s solo album “YOUTH”, and appeared on group AB6IX’s “TAKE A CHANCE” campaign last year.

I.M, a member with musicality and production ability, who can even dance, write and compose, catches the tastes of listeners with his own song “Deny” with an irresistible and addictive R&B sound. His solo EP album “DUALITY” released in 2021 charted on the Billboard Global Digital Sales Chart immediately after the release, showing global popularity showing the strong impact of MONSTA X, while revealing his style, raising expectations for songs from I.M. on the new album.

Moreover, the addictive rhythm of the title song “Beautiful liar” with the lyrics containing the charisma of HYEONGWON, JOOHEON and I.M “A dangerous emotion that cannot be refused, a love that cannot be let go while pursuing a dangerous relationship”, make all the MONBEBES (fan of the group) impatient.

The presence of MONSTA X, which each time becomes more distinctive with its unique color, will once again be clearly demonstrated by “REASON”.
