HIMCHAN, a former member of the group B.A.P., admitted to all of his charges related to forced harassment.

On the morning of April 3, the 6th Criminal Division (Judge Kim Yumi) of the Seoul Western District Court held its first hearing regarding HIMCHAN, charged with forcible harassment.
HIMCHAN is accused of forcibly assaulting two women in April last year at an acquaintance’s restaurant in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
During the trial, HIMCHAN and his attorney said, “I admit all the charges. We are in the process of reaching an agreement with the victim” admitting all charges.
In a police investigation last year, he denied the allegations, saying unavoidable physical contact had taken place, but changed his position.
Lawyers for the two female victims also said they were ready to accept.
The lawsuit also revealed that an investigation into another sex crime involving HIMCHAN was ongoing. HIMCHAN’s attorney submitted a trial notice requesting deliberation on merging the cases.
HIMCHAN’s lawyer submitted a written notice to the court that “the trial should be held behind closed doors“, but it was not accepted.
HIMCHAN’s next trial is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on the 17th of next month.
