A little over a year after his last album, KIM WOO SEOK is back.
Today, at the Ilchi Art Hall in Seoul, singer KIM WOO SEOK appears in front of the press to present his new album “BLANK PAGE“.
It is in a room full of journalists that our reporter Anne is in place to send you the details of this comeback.
First of all, KIM WOO SEOK appears on stage dressed in loose black pants ending with pretty patent leather shoes, and a gray shirt with a zigzag pattern and the sleeves rolled up on his forearms. A sober and elegant style emphasizing the style and personal beauty of the singer.

KIM WOO SEOK is back after his “Desire” album series. The artist returns with “BLANK PAGE“, this new blank page on which he will be able to write what he wishes, with his own words, his own desires. The multi-talented artist, KIM WOOSEOK is a singer, actor and model and has demonstrated his artistic qualities by participating in the writing of songs and lyrics, taking his previous albums to the top of various musical shows.
KIM WOO SEOK‘s new album, “BLANK PAGE” comes in two versions “Dice” and “Dive” which depicts the beauty and fatal charm of KIM WOO SEOK as he crosses the vast span of time. The “Dice” version shows him as an engrossing time traveler while the “Dive” version shows him as someone stuck in a time rift that enchants him.
The album consists of the titles “Intro: Blank Page“, the title track “Dawn”, “Love and hate“, “Heaven, are you there“, “Slip” and “Missing you“. The title track “Dawn” is a trippy, dark alt-R&B song with aggressive synths. The lyrics sound like a story told by the protagonist of a novel as he makes his way through the vastness of time and space. The track raises anticipation for the mysterious changes KIM WOO SEOK has in store throughout “BLANK PAGE.”
As for the MV, which you can watch below, it follows “time traveler” KIM WOO SEOK as he meets the “mermaid.” KIM WOO SEOK who is trapped in the time rift, resulting in a face-off between the two characters. Different versions of KIM WOO SEOK are depicted in the video wandering the time rift: the traveler who controls time using a yo-yo, the gorgeous yet elegant mermaid, as well as her younger self. In particular, the yo-yo brings the two KIM WOO SEOK into contact with each other, revealing KIM WOO SEOK‘s “inner self” as part of a story that fills the “blank page.”
Before moving on to questions from journalists, KIM WOO SEOK revealed that he was nervous because it had been a long time since he had released an album. He therefore wonders how it will be received by the public.
The artist talked about the series “Desire” which took a long time to come out, then he focused on his acting skills by appearing in different dramas before he could focus on this new installment.
“This time I tried to adapt the composition of the song to the concept of the album. Most important was what the fans would like. If I showed a positive side in the second and third albums, I focused on working on this other side that I wanted to show you, a new side of me.” – KIM WOO SEOK
The artist also reveals trying to play sports to build up his muscles and body, but with a small smile, he says that doesn’t seem to work so he has to try more according to him.
