CHAEYEON
Solo singer LEE CHAEYEON returns to the stage today, Wednesday April 12, for her second mini album entitled “OVER THE MOON“.

It was during a showcase held in Seoul that the young woman came to meet journalists, a showcase starting with the broadcast of a teaser. Subsequently, CHAEYEON went on stage to say a few words, saying that she had prepared her comeback hard, only six months after her debut. She hopes to be able to make an impression and she also poses for a photo shoot. Then, it’s the most anticipated moment, that of the performance of her new title, “Knock”.
« For this album, I really hope to be able to show better performances so that I will not be forgotten. » — CHAEYEON
CHAEYEON also presents the songs accompanying the main title: “Line by line“, “I don’t wanna known“, “Don’t be a jerk” and “Like a star“. She focuses on the last song which for her is a message to the fans. She also says she practices writing lyrics, which is why the song “Like a star” is a way for the singer to speak directly to fans, although she confides that on the whole album she prefers “Don’t be a jerk“.

« I want to become a “performance queen”, and be known for my dances and my presence on stage » – CHAEYEON

CHAEYEON also declares with confidence that she did not experience any particular difficulty during the preparation of this concept since she says that she memorized the title song in one day, for example. She focused more on her facial expressions to show off her charms during performances. Despite everything, she repeats that she trained hard. She then expresses her concept using the key words “day” and “night”, showing two facets of her musical imprint. This is why this album has two versions.
Finally, when a reporter asks her if her sister, CHAERYEONG from ITZY is supporting her, CHAEYEON replies, “Last time she said to me, ‘Don’t be nervous, you have a lot of performances coming up, so be confident.” , and she wrote a really long reply. This time, she just said, “It’s addicting.” A fancy reply!
Before concluding this showcase, CHAEYEON offers a second performance: “I don’t wanna know“, to journalists. The genre is very experimental and electronic, and far from the colorful atmosphere of “Knock”. The rhythm is more lively, but may not please everyone. She then thanks the journalists, and all those showing interest in her solo career in the future, and this is how the showcase ends, when the singer leaves the stage.
The words of our reporter: “Song having me more amazement, which I add in my playlist! The second performance was also unexpected but a good surprise.”
