By writing this article, KSTATION TV paies tribute to MOONBIN, member of the group ASTRO, who passed away way too early.
I am publishing this tribute article with such sadness and sorrow in order to pay tribute to a gentle, kind, smiling and talented young man. Such an article should never be written, but I think that I have to pay a last tribute to the talented singer, dancer, actor that was MOONBIN.
Since the announcement of his death on Wednesday April 19, celebrities and ASTRO fans have paid their last tribute to MOONBIN and honored his memory through beautiful speeches and moving messages. The storefront of FANTAGIO in Seoul also became a place where many fans can put flowers and personal messages.
I know that it is hard to think of happy memories right now, but I suggest you to dive back into the most significant moments of MOONBIN‘s life and career in order to keep beautiful memories of him. I discovered MOONBIN even before ASTRO‘s debuts in 2015 when he was a trainee in his agency while the members were preparing for their debut day in February 2016. Since 2015, I never stopped supporting him as a member of ASTRO but also during his individual activities and I loved each detail and story that I could learn over the years. I will never be able to forget his cat face, his smile, his sense of humor, his endless talent and all those little details that made him HIM. I was lucky enough to see him on stage during the ASTRO X AROHA festival in 2017 when the group had just released the song “AGAIN”. I will forever cherish this one memory of MOONBIN hoping it eases the pain I am going through.
And just as ASTRO always says: ‘Wanna be your star !’. Now, you are a real star that shines high, MOONBIN. We will never forget you.
