SEVENTEEN: Another victory
Group SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, Dokyeom, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) are collecting trophies at music shows with their new song “Super”.
MBC’s “Show Music Core” with SEVENTEEN aired on May 6, with the group topping the charts with “Super,” one of the double tracks off their 10th mini album “FML.” After “Show! Champion”, “M Countdown” and “Music Bank”, SEVENTEEN won four “gold medals” in music shows.
Rather than being buried in negative thoughts even in bad situations, SEVENTEEN understands the conflicts of young people and brings a healthy and positive point of view, saying: “Rather than being pessimistic and frustrated, and even if we are tired lets fight !”, and gives a message of comfort and hope.
“Super” is a song featuring a variety of repeated kick beats in the Alternative Jersey Club style with a strong feeling. Inspired by “Son Goku”, who modernizes and improves himself through trials and frustrations, SEVENTEEN included a message in the song comparing himself to “Son Goku”, who grows endlessly while continuing his march towards a “Career high”.
SEVENTEEN became the only artist in the world to have an album that sold more than 3 million copies on the first day of the album’s release, and “FML” proved the true value of “powerhouse absolute K-pop” by setting a new initial sales record (sales record one week after release).
