INFINITE received a brand as a gift from Woollim Entertainment CEO Lee Joong Yeop.

INFINITE’s KIM SUNG KYU said through his agency on May 9, “CEO Lee Joong Yeop has always had a lot of affection for the group and the members of INFINITE since his debut,” adding, “He has encouraged the future of the members and is delighted that they are in possession of the brand, including INFINITE.“
Earlier today, a media outlet reported that Woollim Entertainment CEO Lee Joong Yeop transferred the trademark rights for free on April 21, KIM SUNG KYU‘s birthday, to support INFINITE’s activities. According to Kipris (Trademark Registration Application Service), INFINITE applied for trademark rights with Woollim Entertainment in 2010, but all rights were transferred to INFINITE Company as of April 21, 2023.
INFINITE debuted as a seven-member group in 2011. He was loved for many hit songs while working for Woollim Entertainment agency, such as “Man in love“, “The chaser“, “Be mine“, “Bad”, “White confession”, and “BTD”. Currently, KIM SUNG KYU is affiliated with Double HTN, JANG DONG WOO with HiHe Co., Ltd., NAM WOO HYUN with J-Flex, LEE SUNG YEOL with Management 2Sang, L (KIM MYUNG SOO) with Luke Media and LEE SEONG JONG with SPK Entertainment.
In general, when all the members leave the agency which saw the birth of the group, they can no longer use the name of the group, each of them works with a new name of the group. Highlight and BBGirl are representative examples. Therefore, Woollim Entertainment CEO Lee Joong Yeop’s trademark gift, which supports INFINITE’s business as a whole, is highly unusual in the music industry.
On May 6, the members of INFINITE formed the INFINITE Company to make a comeback as an entire group. He announced a fresh start via his official YouTube channel and SNS. The representative is known to be KIM SUNG KYU. Support and congratulations from the public are pouring in for INFINITE, which celebrates its happy 13th anniversary without any problems.
