SEVENTEEN: Popularity in Japan
Group SEVENTEEN has once again proven its local popularity by standing out on Billboard Japan’s “First Half of 2023 Chart“.

According to Billboard Japan’s “First Half of 2023 Chart” released on June 9, SEVENTEEN ranked third side-by-side in the “Hot Albums” Complete Albums Chart and “Top Albums Sales” Album Sales Chart with his 10th mini album “FML”. This ranking is the highest ranking recorded by K-pop artists on the “First Half of 2023 Chart“.
At the same time, Japan’s debut EP album “DREAM” also ranked 10th in the “Top Album Sales”, and SEEVENTEEN had two albums in the top 10 of the chart.
SEVENTEEN became the only artist to sell more than 3 million copies on the first day of the album’s release with “FML” and continued to be popular for five consecutive weeks by appearing on the US Billboard’s major albums chart, “Billboard 200”.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN will release their first “Best Album” in Japan on August 23rd and hold a “SEVENTEEN TOUR ‘FOLLOW’ TO JAPAN” tour in five Japanese cities, Tokyo Dome on September 6th and 7th, Seibu Veruna Dome on September 23rd and November 24, Banterin Dome Nagoya on November 30 and December 2, 3, Kyocera Dome Osaka on December 7, 9 and 10, and Fukuoka PayPay Dome on December 16, 17.
