The group FROMIS_9 gave a special moment during the Weversecon Festival by awakening as it should be the instinct of “Summer queen“.
FROMIS_9 showed its presence on the stage of WeverseCon Festival 2023 at KSPO DOME in Seoul Olympic Park on the afternoon of June 10.
From the moment full of “coolness” between pride and charisma to the freshness that chased away the heat of a summer day. FROMIS_9’s setlist, which sounded in the concert hall that day, had no directive punchline. The title song “#menow” and the song “Attitude” from the first album “UNLOCK MY WORLD“, as well as old songs such as “Stay this way“, “DM“, “We go” and “Up and“, were performed as a feast of rich tone.
FROMIS_9, which opened the door with “Stay this way,” a “bright and cool summer song,” excited fans with its “refresh” moment. The group then performed “We go,” “Up and,” and “DM,” which burst into joy as they streamed live, exuding refreshing energy throughout the performance, making the audience’s heartbeat pound.
“This is the second Weverse concert,” said FROMIS_9, who performed four songs. “We also spent the last day of 2021 with you, and when we are on stage again in the summer, we are so hot that we do not know if this heat is ours or yours,” expressing its strong feelings.
The members also said, “I have something I want to congratulate you on. FROMIS_9’s first full album was released on the 5th. It is a very precious album that contains the will to unlock my world and move towards a wider world.”, making the atmosphere enjoyable with witty talks by teaching the punctual choreography of the title track “#menow”.
Since then, FROMIS_9 has immediately warmed up the KSPO DOME by delivering an explosive volume with the scenes of “#menow” and “Attitude”. They demonstrated the dignity of “Summer queen” while showing a broader two-stage musical spectrum. Above all, her perfect rendition of six restless songs made its reflect on the true value of FROMIS_9 and raised expectations for its future activities.
PARK JI WON, a member of FROMIS_9, also performed a fantastic live performance at the Weverse Park Urban Stage held during the day. PARK JI WON surprised with Bumzu’s “28.5” scene and performed “Wishlist”, a song from FROMIS_9’s debut album in which she participated in writing and composing, as well as a sweet duet with him.
