The singer NIKA will return with a new sad ballad.
NIKA will be releasing her new single “COMPLETELY” on various online music sites at 6 p.m. KST on June 12. This is the second song from NIKA, which changed its name from MONICA to NIKA last year and announced a fresh start.
The new song “Completely” is an R&B genre song that combines light melodies, mournful piano and bass sounds, and NIKA wrote the lyrics for the song. NIKA said the song was inspired by the movie “The Resolution to break up“. “It’s a song that expresses the pathetic feelings of a woman who can’t break up or love,” she explained.
Additionally, following NIKA’s “Dream” released in September, producer G.QOO also took on the responsibility of writing, arranging, and producing the song, enhancing its completeness. In addition to this, Miles Showell, engineer from the British studio at Abbey Road, took part in the mastering.
NIKA recently signed an exclusive contract with their new agency, ZIZE STUDIO, and plans to work on stronger songs and activities in the future.
