DSP Media revealed the name of the new girl group.

DSP Media, the agency, said on July 12, “The name of the rookie girl group is YOUNG POSSE.” The official logo released at the same time is a form of differentiated calligraphy that breaks with the ordinary, and the distinct personality and trendy charm of the group are expected.
YOUNG POSSE was conceived from the Latin word POSSE, which means “can” and “be possible” and literally means “a group of young people united for a purpose“. It involves strong ambition and a strong will that we can only achieve what we want when we work together rather than alone and everyone rather than individually.
YOUNG POSSE, in particular, aspires to exude an offensive yet different charm through music and performances that break the basic equation of K-POP.
YOUNG POSSE is a new five-member girl group co-produced by DSP Media, which created Fin.K.L and Kara, and Beats Entertainment, founded by producer and vocalist Kiggen. Kiggen rose to prominence producing albums for artists such as Shinhwa, Seventeen, and Twice.
YOUNG POSSE is preparing for its debut in the second half of this year.
