The first Japanese song from TWICE’s first sub-unit MISAMO has been released.
On July 14, JYP Entertainment pre-released the sound source and music video for the title track of MISAMO’s Japanese debut album “Do not touch“.
The title track of MISAMO’s debut Japanese album “Do not touch” is an R&B genre song that highlights the charm, color and adulthood of the three members. JYP Entertainment’s representative producer Park Jin Young wrote the lyrics himself and expressed them as artworks with the concept of “do not touch” prohibiting contact with the artworks in the art museum.
The first album “MASTERPIECE”, which means “masterpiece”, shows MISAMO’s aspirations for the quality of the album, which is released for the first time as a sub-unit.
The album includes the title track “Do not touch“, “Behind the curtain“, “Marshmallow”, “Funny Valentine“, “It’s not easy for you“, “Rewind you” and “Bouquet” (seven songs).
MOMO, MINA, and SANA participated in writing the lyrics for the fourth track “Funny valentine”, the fifth track “It’s not easy for you” and the sixth track “Rewind you”, respectively.
MISAMO will be launched on July 26. The first mini-album release showcase “MISAMO JAPAN SHOWCASE 2023” will be held at the 5th Exhibition Hall of Interex Osaka, Japan, from May 22 to 23, and Pia Arena MM in Tokyo from May 25 to 27.
