The girl group FROMIS_9 (Lee Sae-Rom, Song Ha-Young, Park Ji-Won, Roh Ji-Sun, Lee Seo-Yeon, Lee Chae-Young, Lee Na-Gyung and Baek Ji-Heon) has won the 2023 K GLOBAL HEART DREAM AWARDS.
On the 10th afternoon, FROMIS_9 received the “K GLOBAL BEST MUSIC VIDEO AWARD” at the “2023 K GLOBAL HEART DREAM AWARDS” at the KSPO DOME (previously the Olympic Gymnastics Arena) in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
FROMIS_9 said : “ We would like to thank flover (fandom name) for allowing us to stand on this precious stage. Receiving the award for the Best Music Video reminds us of the filming. We remember laughing a lot as we ran down the runway, and we will continue to run forward with the happy memories of this moment.“
The members then added their thoughts in english, chinese and japanese, thrilling their global fans.
At the awards ceremony, FROMIS_9 also performed “#MENOW“, the title track of their first full-lenght album. The members showed off their-fairy-like side as they perfectly executed their snow-white outfits with dazzling visuals. The group’s rich harmonies and colorful compositions, which were carefully built up, drew loud cheers from the audience.
Meanwhile, FROMIS_9 made a comeback with their first full-length album “UNLOCK MY WORLD” in june, proving their musical growth. The song “Attitude” from the first album was selected as one of the “15 best K-pop songs of 2023” by NME and the song received attention from global media.
