Yesterday, October 24 at midnight KST, ATEEZ announced its comeback on December 1.
On October 24 at midnight KST, ATINYs (fandom name) discovered the date of ATEEZ‘s long-awaited return and the name of the group’s next full album through a first poster. ATEEZ‘s next album, “THE WORLD EP.FIN: WILL“, will be released on December 1st. This will be the group’s second full-length album after “TREASURE EP.FIN: ALL TO ACTION” released in 2019.
This announcement was eagerly awaited by ATINYs since the diffusion of posters and the presence of promotional trucks in Paris and Seoul. On these posters, we could see a well-known character from the group’s history: HALATEEZ (in reference to the song “HALA HALA”) marked with a target in its centre. The latter would then only be unsought after but would be prey to an imminent attack echoing the promotion that had been carried out for the previous album. These posters also had a QR Code leading to an image with the message “Follow Your WILL” and the shape of a rabbit which greatly intrigued fans.
The official announcement of the album was made through a graphic change on the group’s social networks and by the post of a first poster accompanied by the message “Follow Your WILL”. On the latter, we can read the name of this next opus “THE WORLD EP.FIN: WILL” tagged on a wall which contains many other messages. Indeed, we can see a rabbit that adds to the intrigue, as well as a bluebird which references “HALAZIA“. Additionally, there are several inscriptions such as “AMISTAD (friendship)”, “HISTORIA(history)”, “KINDRED SPIRIT”, and “BELIEFS” that indicate the importance of strong bonds between members for the success of the revolution led by the group in STRICKLAND, the world in which the story takes place.
Thus, this announcement generated strong reactions from fans on SNS. ATINYs showed their enthusiasm during the announcement, which came only hours after ATEEZ‘s fifth anniversary.
Finally, ATEEZ (HONGJOONG, SEONGHWA, YUNHO, YEOSANG, SAN, MINGI, WOOYOUNG, JONGHO) will be perform at the “IMMORTAL SONG IN NEW YORK” concert on October 26.
